Eddie AI is free to import and prompt—experience its magic as it cuts your footage together swiftly.
The Cost
New users can try Eddie, including exporting (for free).
You can export an unlimited number of times from the same project.
For more exports, buy credit or subscribe.
Prices are on the home page.
More details on the differences per plan are here.
What is a Credit?
There's no cost/credit used when you start a project, import media, or prompt.
Credit is only deducted when you export from a project.
Each time you export from a unique project, it counts as 1 credit. You can export an unlimited number of times from a project and it will only count as 1 credit. If you notice that your credits are not appearing, simply restart the app to refresh your balance. This usually resolves most visibility issues.
Examples:
if you export from 5 different projects, 5 credits will be deducted
if you export 10 times from the same one project, 1 credit will be deducted
Subscribe vs Buy Credits
Subscribing has a bunch of benefits (see details here).
You receive credits with the subscription and this allows for exporting from projects
Unused credit rollover to the next month and for up to three months.
If you subscribe to the annual plan, you receive all the credit upfront and unused credit also rollover to the next year.
If you use up all your credit, you can still purchase more credit and your plan provides for a discount on credit.
If you cancel your subscription, your credits will expire at the end of the term.
Larger project sizes. For example: if you're on Pay As You Go, the b-roll logging project can be up to 25 files. If you are on a Pro subscription, a b-roll logging project size is up to 400 files. Different modes have different project size maximums.
Buy Credit:
If you are project to project or just prefer to not have a monthly/annual commitment, you may prefer to just purchase credit and use them as and when you need.
