Eddie is even better integrated with Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro (Resolve users: we're working on it! For now, download the XML and import that into Resolve.)

You can now drag the edit from Eddie right into your NLE!!

Here's how.

  1. You need to use Eddie AI application that's built for Macs/Windows (not the web version).

  2. Import videos into Eddie; prompt Eddie for an edit;

  3. Then click the "Export" button under the video player and choose either Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.

  4. A pop-up will appear: hold and drag the green XML icon (seen below) right into the bin on Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro. The timeline will appear in the bin: double click on it to open it and it will seamlessly relink to your source media. This timeline is the same edit you had crafted in Eddie.

Drag the green XML icon...

...and drop it into the bin of Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.

The timeline will recreate in your video editing application.

TaDa! That was fast!

This feature replaces the previous option where you had to download the XML and FCPXML first and then import it into Adobe / FCP. This new feature saves a few steps.

But you can still download the XML/FCPXML if you want to by clicking the option at the bottom of the export modal.
