UPDATE: Eddie now has an extension for Adobe Premiere Pro which allows for seamless importing of clips from and exporting of sequences to Premiere Pro -- without the need for XML.

Watch a Tutorial on how to bring the XML into Adobe Premiere.

For the Desktop App:

If you really need to use XML to import to Adobe:

  1. Download. Click the "Export" button under the video player. Choose "Adobe Premiere" and you will receive an "XML". An XML is a file format and a standard that denotes the in and out points of the source video that form an edit timeline/sequence.

We recommend put the XML file in the same folder as your source videos so in the next step they can seamlessly relink.

  2. Import XML. Open Adobe Premiere and a project. Drag and drop your XML file into your bin, and it will import as a sequence.

If your XML is in the same folder as your video files, they will seamlessly relink.

  3. Re-Link Your Footage. If your footage did not automatically relink, you can manually relink them. Right click on the clip references in the bin and choose "Link Media." In the next screen you will see the option to find that source media on your computer. Navigate to the right folder/drive and then choose it to relink.

TaDa!

Use Transcript Markers: The transcript markers included in your timeline help you quickly navigate through clips and refine your edits.
