Eddie can create edits from multicam interviews.
Are you creating a multicam podcast? Or want to create social videos from multicam interviews?
Use Podcast mode (which also allows you to prompt and receive 1-2 min social clips).
Eddie will import your source files, sync and align them, and then choose the right camera angle at the right moment. Your source files should be of people talking for Eddie to then choose the angle to cut to, based who is speaking.
Subsequent prompting on Podcast mode allows you to get social clips. You can't prompt for a revision on the full edit (yet).
This mode allows for one multicam interview import at a time.
See the prereqs listed below.
Are you creating an edit with a narrative structure (non-linear, with soundbites) from multicam interviews?
Use Chat & Edit mode.
Eddie can a) import multicam clips you have created from your bin/event in Premiere/Resolve/FCP and edit them together into a story
Or b) import the source footage from your drive and sync/align them and then created edits from that. (See the prereqs listed below.)
The benefit of this is you will receive a sequence back in your video editing app that has multicams clips and everything will seamlessly relink.
Eddie can import numerous multicam clips.
Eddie will NOT choose angles in this mode. You will need to do that on the sequence back in your NLE.
Prerequisites for when Eddie creates the multicams from your source files. This applies to both Podcast mode and Chat & Edit mode.
