Eddie can import true multicam clips. And dirty multicam timelines (ie synced timelines) where you manually aligned source assets on a timeline.

True multicam clips are preferable as all assets will stay nicely locked and in sync as Eddie simply references the multicam clip.

Here's how to create true multicam clips in Resolve:

  1. Open Resolve and be in Edit mode.

  2. Have all your assets in the bin.

  3. Highlight the related assets for the multicam clip.

  4. Right clip and choose "Create New Multicam Clip Using Selected Clips...

5. You'll see the "New Multicam Clip" modal. Choose whether Resolve should sync the assets via audio/waveform/sound or timecode or some other option. Then click "Create".

6. If all worked correctly, you will see a new clip in your bin with this icon:

TaDa!
