Eddie lets you easily request a video of a specific length. If you need a certain duration for your project, here’s how to ask Eddie for it.

Simply use prompts like:

• “Create a 2-minute cut from this footage.”

• “Can you give me a 5-minute version?”

• “Trim this clip down to 3 minutes.”

If Eddie gives you more than you asked for—say you requested 5 minutes but got 9—try asking for a shorter duration. For example, ask Eddie for a 3-minute cut instead, and it will adjust to meet your request. Eddie uses available content to optimize your cuts, so feel free to experiment with different durations.

Pro Tip: Keep in mind that 150 words of dialogue roughly equals 1 minute of video. This can help you estimate how long your final cut will be.
