If you use Eddie to log and organize A-rolls/interview footage, here's all the great metadata that come into your NLE:

Eddie AI's new A-Roll Logging feature is designed to streamline your interview editing process, helping you quickly find the best moments and create compelling stories.

What does A-Roll Logging do?

Eddie AI analyzes your interview footage and automatically:

  • Removes Silences and Filler Words: Clean up your interviews by eliminating unnecessary pauses and "umms" and "ahs".

  • Identifies Soundbites: Pinpoints key moments in your interviews and marks them for easy access.

  • Organizes by Topic: Groups soundbites across all your interviews by relevant topics, allowing you to quickly gather content around specific themes.

  • Creates Stringouts for Efficient Editing: Generates two types of stringouts within your editing software:

    • Chronological Stringout: Your full interview with silences and filler words removed, organized chronologically with chapter markers indicating topic changes.

    • Most Interesting Stringout: A curated timeline of the best soundbites from each interviewee, ranked by conciseness and overall value.

  • Provides Searchable Transcripts: Offers searchable transcript markers for all your source videos, along with a summary of each video for quick content overview.
