Eddie works seamlessly with Adobe Premiere Pro, including both standard projects and Team Projects. However, it’s important to understand how project types affect your workflow to avoid import or export issues.

How Eddie Works with Team Projects

Eddie supports both:

  • Standard Premiere Projects

  • Team Projects

As long as you stay within the same project type, your workflow will function normally.

⚠️ Important: Do Not Switch Project Types Mid-Workflow

Eddie requires consistency between import and export.

  • If you import from a standard project, you must export back to that same standard project

  • If you import from a Team Project, you must export back to that same Team Project

Switching between project types after importing (for example, importing from a standard project and then switching to a Team Project) will cause Eddie to fail during export.

Recommended Workflow

To avoid issues:

  1. Decide upfront whether you are working in a Team Project or a standard project

  2. Import your media into Eddie from that project

  3. Complete your edits in Eddie

  4. Export back to the same project type

Why This Matters

Team Projects and standard projects are handled differently within Premiere. Because of this, Eddie cannot transfer edits between them mid-workflow.

Keeping your workflow consistent ensures smooth imports, successful exports, and no lost work.

If you run into issues, double-check that you’re exporting back to the same project type you originally imported from.
