If you export to MP4 video and the resolution is low, the reason may be that your video transcoding resolution is not set to the highest level.
You can change the setting here via the "Settings" menu. Choose the Resolution setting and set it to the highest option (1080p).
You will need to re-import the project from scratch, edit and then export to see the higher quality MP4.
