Benefits of Using FCXML with Eddie in DaVinci Resolve:
• Transcript Markers: Streamline your editing with markers on both the source clips and the timeline for easy navigation.
• Customizable Titles: The FCXML includes editable titles that you can adjust in DaVinci Resolve to fit your project’s styling needs.
Export Your FCXML from Eddie:
1. Complete Your Edit: Confirm that your video edit is ready for export.
2. Export: Click the ‘Export’ button below the video player.
3. Choose Format: Select ‘DaVinci Resolve FCXML’ and download the file.
Importing into DaVinci Resolve:
1. Open DaVinci Resolve: Launch the application on your computer.
2. Start a New Project: Or open an existing one.
3. Import the FCXML: Go to File > Import > Timeline and select the FCXML file.
4. Link Media: Resolve might prompt you to locate the original clips. Navigate to where your videos are stored and select them to relink.
Customizing Your Project:
• Edit Titles: Use DaVinci Resolve’s powerful tools to customize the titles for aesthetics and clarity.
• Integrate Captions: For detailed captions, import an SRT file from Eddie using File > Import > Captions.
