Eddie supports multicams and you can bring them in in three ways:
You can bring in the source assets (up to 3 cameras, 1 separate audio source) and Eddie can sync and align the assets as long as they all have scratch audio.
You can import true multicam clips from FCP, Premiere, and Resolve
You can import dirty multicam timelines from Premiere and Resolve
Notes:
Enabling multicams in Chat & Edit mode allows for the importing of numerous multicam interviews that will be edited together
Today: Eddie doesn't choose different angles in this mode. The main benefit today is by allowing you to bring in multicam interviews, you can preserve this multicam clip structure to your timeline in your NLE (Adobe/Resolve/FCP) on export and you can switch angles there.
If you want Eddie to choose different angles and your edits are short in duration: use AI multicam podcast mode. Eddie will first sync the files via waveform. Then you can prompt Eddie to cut short videos (suitable for social media). You will receive these edits and Eddie will have chosen different angles.
Automatic angle switching: it is on our roadmap. Today you choose the "main" camera angle on import and Eddie will use that angle in the edit.
What to do if I just have 1 angle and 1 separate audio/wav? The minimum is two angles. SO the workaround is import that first angle twice.
How to enable multicams in Chat & Edit mode
Open the Eddie Mac/PC app
Click New Project and choose "Chat & Edit" mode
Turn the toggle on for "Multicam+++"

How to properly import for when Eddie does the sync and align
When you import related angles, make sure they are grouped together, like the below.
The below is INCORRECT. The below shows the two angles in two groupings. What will happen is Eddie will treat these as TWO SEPARATE multicams
