Welcome to Eddie, your AI-powered video editing sidekick! Eddie’s here to make your editing life easier, faster, and way more fun. Let’s get you set up in no time!

1. Create a New Project

First, start by creating a new project in Eddie.

Steps to Create a New Project:

1. Click “New Project”.

2. Import Your Video

Once your project is created, import your video for Eddie to process. Eddie works best with videos that have clear audio and dialogue—interviews, vlogs, or any footage with good sound quality.

Import From:

• Google Drive

• Dropbox

• Your Computer

Steps to Import:

1. Click “Import Video”.

2. Select your video from the source.

3. Let Eddie analyze the video and prepare for editing.

3. Give Eddie a Prompt

Now that your video is imported, Eddie can perform tasks with simple commands. Here are some real-world examples:

“Create a 1-minute cut from the interview.” Eddie will find key moments and trim it down.

“Find the part where they talk about [insert topic].” Eddie will locate and cut the soundbite.

“Cut together the discussion about the company’s future.” Let Eddie pull the relevant clips for you.

4. Export Your Edit

When you’re satisfied with your edit, it’s time to export your video.

MP4: For general use.

Vertical: Ideal for Instagram, TikTok, and other social media.

XML: For further editing in Premiere, Final Cut, or other professional software.

Steps to Export:

1. Click “Export”.

2. Select MP4, Vertical, or XML.

3. Eddie will notify you when the export is ready. Simple!

5. Share Your Video

Once your video is ready, you can share it directly by sending a link to your projects or edits, making collaboration easy.
